It’s 2007 in Fresno, Texas. Rafael is in the county jail after being arrested for graffiti. He’s a good kid. It’s just graffiti. So you can’t blame Rafael for the events that unfold after his arrest. He’s not responsible for the sting operation, Pflophouse’s new mixtape, Officer Williams and her misguided suspicions, the meth pipes, the FBI, the rich kids with nothing to lose, Matteo, Larry the pig, all the knives, the local ambitious TV newswoman, the plutonium that might not work, gone sour. None of this is Rafael’s fault, but it’s his problem.
